Golden Fall Wedding at Crooked Willow Farm
Let me fill you in a little bit on Julie and Trevor’s wedding day—
Julie & Trevor were married on the most beautiful breezy September day, with a gathering of 70 or so of their very closest friends and family. They started their days separately, relaxing with friends and getting ready for their first look together. Trevor was having a little trouble with his bow-tie before the wedding, so he thought he’d save it for Julie to put on him at their first look—and with a little help from a youtube tutorial, she nailed it!
We ran into one little hiccup in the timeline—all of their out of town guests were staying at the same hotel and taking shuttle busses from Denver to Larkspur, and the busses got off schedule for one reason or another, keeping the guests from the ceremony. Luckily, they had the most amazing wedding planner, Katharyne of Simply Elegant, holding down the fort and managing the timeline, AND I cannot even tell you how amazingly calm Julie and Trevor were. Before we knew it, busses of guests were arriving, and they were ready to say I do!
With the ceremony starting a little later, we were blessed with the most gorgeous light, creating a golden hour as they said their hand-written vows. Apart from the bride and groom, there wasn’t a dry eye there, they said the sweetest sentiments.
After they tied the knot, they were ready for one big party ahead of them, including a surprise salsa dance! They had taken salsa lessons over the past year leading up to the wedding day, and they completely KILLED IT on the dance floor. Julie even changed into a saucy little dress, with plans to later change back into her gown, but I think she was loving the tassels too much on the dance floor to go back!
I’m so happy I got to be a part of their beautiful day—congrats to the Woods! <3
